Even though there are only six Butterfree cards in the English TCG it was beyond difficult to pick a favourite. The Butterfree FB card from Platinum SV was a very close second, the reason I went with this one from Generations is because of its quirky art style and how well it reminds you that Butterfree is a Bug-type, the big red eyes and visible fangs make it look kind of creepy which is always fun considering it's a pretty butterfly in the anime.
So I welcome it freely in My Pokemon Card Pokedex.
